About Amelinda Ibarra, APRN, FNP-BC

Amelinda Ibarra is an ANCC board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner serving the El Paso community. With more than 17 years of clinical experience, she specializes in chronic disease management, preventive care, and wellness promotion for patients throughout El Paso and the surrounding communities. She joined El Paso Orthopedic Specialists in 2026 and is passionate about bridging gaps in healthcare through education, ensuring her community has the resources and knowledge needed to lead healthier lives.

Amelinda earned her Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at El Paso, where she also received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she spent 14 years as a registered nurse, providing care in intensive care, surgical, and orthopedic hospital units.
