Toribio Natividad, MD

About

Toribio Natividad, MD, board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, joins El Paso Orthopedic Clinics with a wealth of expertise. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and also completed his orthopedic surgery internship and residency there. He then went to the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque where he completed a fellowship in sports medicine. In addition, Dr. Natividad has a Masters Degree in physical therapy.

His passion for sports medicine can be seen through the numerous sports teams he has served. He currently is an athletic team physician for University of Texas at El Paso and Burgess High School. Previously, he cared for student athletes at University of New Mexico, Cathedral High School and others.

Dr. Natividad has served as Chief of Orthopaedics at El Paso Specialty Hospital since 2012. He also enjoys teaching other physicians in his role as an adjunct clinical professor for Texas Tech University Health Science Center's sport medicine fellowship program.

He has participated in research that has been published in medical journals and has presented his work at numerous medical conferences across Texas and the U.S.

Dr. Natividad is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Texas Medical Association and other professional organizations.
